III. Material Combination Application Scenarios
1. Carbon steel base layer + 316L overlay-welded layer: suitable for conventional saline sewage, seawater, and mildly corrosive chemical pipelines;
2. Carbon steel base layer + 2205 duplex stainless steel overlay-welded layer: suitable for high-chloride and moderately acid-alkali corrosive desulfurization pipelines;
3. Carbon steel base layer + Hastelloy overlay-welded layer: suitable for strong acid and highly corrosive chemical high-temperature process pipelines;
4. 20# carbon steel base layer + corrosion-resistant alloy: suitable for high-temperature steam and high-temperature oil and gas conveying conditions.
IV. Product Advantages
1. The overlay-welded layer and steel pipe base material are metallurgically fused, eliminating the risk of delamination or peeling, with bonding strength far exceeding that of mechanically lined composite pipes;
2. The outer carbon steel layer provides high-strength pressure-bearing capacity, while the inner-wall alloy layer resists corrosion and high-temperature erosion, making it suitable for harsh chemical and marine working conditions;
3. The overlay welding thickness is controllable, allowing the corrosion-resistant layer thickness to be customized according to the corrosive medium grade, significantly extending service life;
4. It can be supplied with tees, elbows, and flanges made by the same overlay welding process, ensuring a unified anti-corrosion layer throughout the pipeline system with no weak corrosion-prone joints;
5. The inner wall is flat and smooth, with low fluid resistance and minimal scaling, making it suitable for continuous long-term industrial production and conveying.
